But I gotta wonder, how long does the dealer keep it before they let it go? I have dealer-installed window tint and floor mats. I guess that could be a day. Those floor mats could get tricky...

 

I'm in SoCal but having a port installed option - driving lamps. I hope to have the car by this weekend though. I'm calling my MA tomorrow.

 

Are the driving lamps dealer or port installed? I thought I was told they were a dealer job..

My list - rally lights, chrome rearview mirrors, UJ interior review mirror, roof rack, 2 bike racks... clear bra... I think that's all the non-factory options I ordered...

 

is everyone elses cars showing up as "At Distribution Center" or still showing "en route"?

just wondering because mine is still showing as en route but my dealer told me the car will be ready by the weekend.

 

Also en route ~ but I've seen many posts here about the slow updates to Owner's Lounge status. Wish there was a way to provide feedback about that site.

 

My owner's lounge status is "en route". I called askmini yesterday evening and was told it was on the ship. Then she said they don't really track the cars after they're loaded onboard and to call my dealer. I'm putting off calling my MA because whenever I've asked for anything her first response is always "no". (Please tell me we don't ever have to deal with our MA's after we get our mini!!!)

 

I too am still in "en route" mode in the Owners' Lounge in spite of evidence to the contrary.

 

I noticed that the Owners' Lounge Order Detail page now includes VIN number. Is that new?

 

I don't think so. I found my VIN somewhere on the Owner's Lounge early on after ordering my mini but I don't rememer where.

 

I think VIN shows up just as soon as it's scheduled for production... at least that's when I first noticed mine.

 

The OL always shows the vin # once it has be asigned to your order. Also don't depend on the OL at this point, it will be very slow to update, and in my case it never has. Still showing Skeeter at the VDC with delivery of 8/15.

The VDC is like a black hole and the most current info will be from your MA, I learned that OL uses a differant data base than what the dealers see, so even if your OL updates with an estimated delivery date, it can be in conflict with dates your dealer have.

 

I must have been following outdated instruction and "viewed page source" to get the VIN. Never noticed it in the OL Order Detail.

 

this sucks, i just called the dealer and they stated that the car is scheduled to arrive at the dealer on the 15th and takes them 2 days to clean it up and wash it, so whoever got their cars from niello in sac wont get it till monday, i guess ill be getting it on my bday

 

Called my MA. Nigel arrives on the 18th, Still it will take till the 22nd before he is ready and they want me to take delivery on the week of the 24th. 6 days to tint the windows and put on a clear bra. Nothing to do but wait.

 

where are you located? I am emailing my MA right now.

The MINI I've been watching out for on the Boheme arrived at the dealership last night. Its big unveiling, celebration and birthday party is Saturday.

It's soooo worth the wait. Just a few more days.....hang in there!

 

dealer called me today and said that my car should be there tomorrow, if it is, its possible i get it on sat!

 

Congrats....a Saturday delivery is best in my opinion, hope all goes smoothly and have fun motoring.

My owner's lounge says that my ETA is 9/18. Woo Hoo!! It's almost here!! Shaalan you better be posting pics right when you get yours....for all of your fellow bohemeians!!

Who's your MA, as Tyler isn't real prompt about calling me back? From another MA at Ralph Schomp in Littleton, CO, he told me mine should be ready the same week.

Also, anyone know what else is involved in dealer prep (sometimes called PDI) if you don't have any dealer installed options? I definately don't want them screwing a front license plate bracket into my Mini's bumper. They might as well leave the dealer sticker off as I'm just going to peel it off anyway. What else?
