i don't know the answer to your question but you might want to call them daily to remind them about the front plate. i know at least five people- six including myself- who requested that, but came to pick up their MINI with holes in the bumper. :(

The PDI is usually the removal of the last of the shipping protection, check fluid levles, batt, make sure the car starts. A final detail/shine....baiscally make it look nice for the customer and it will drive off of the lot.

If you do not what the license holes drilled, make that request a few times, here in the bay area there is one dealer that refuses not to do it, stating it is a law issue. Also my dealer had removed the MSRP sticker and placed it in the back seat of Skeeter.

Glad if I have been of help in the long wait.

I wished I was taking delivery of another Mini.......but I have had Skeeter since 8/14 and he has just passed the 2k trouble free mile marker.

Some pics of Skeeter at the link below.

A full bra/tint job should be completed in 5 - 8 hours, depending on the installer.

Masterd you gotta show your low Mini once you do it. I'm afraid to lower my Mini since it has the aerokit on it. I don't think it would get over any speedbumps after I put on 10 pounds at the holidays coming up.

Masterd, I'm not lowering or anything but my first accessory is one of Ev's windscreens. I just don’t know if I have the heart to put it on at the lot before I drive off. The wind screen should be here tomorrow in the next day or so. What other accessories or mods do people have planned for their mini?

I mailed my JCW steering wheel to the dealership to install. I was going to do it myself but chickened out because I didn't want to mess with the airbag. (I have 2 left hands) I also have my pirate floor mats which may be a very tricky install... line it up juuuuuuuust right, hehe.

I'm guessing the Floormat Pic is not yours. If it is more power to you on the RHD.

Hi Chur, no, it's the pic from the website I bought the mats from. They are better looking than the pic. The large pirate mat in the boot looks gooooood.

$120 for the install. I just don't feel comfortable doing it. I'm thinking shorty antenna too. That's about my DIY speed

EEK! I just checked Owner's Lounge and it has an estimated delivery of 9/16 - heart started pounding after I read that

Does anyone know what that date means? Is that when it arrives at the dealer?

As it shows it is an "estimated date" for delivery to the dealer. Best to contact your MA and he could show a differant date or the same, but he could have more info on the status of your Mini.
