I thought I would start a thread to help us move forward in the wait line!! All those on the TAGUS report in!! Marvin is booked and has his ticket ready to board and leave Southhampton on 8/9/07. Lest hope all goes well and the ship will leave on time!! I think he may be trying to be first in the buffet line!!

Hey everyone, it shows our MCS is booked on the TAGUS, when will we know if it makes it aboard? for sure??

 

To All: Welcome my new baby aboard, not named yet but already a part of my e-life. You'll recognize him/her from the signature below.

 

Hi! I think I read on another posting somewhere that once the ship has left Southampton, if you are still listed as on it, you are! Did that make sense?

 

If you check the WW sight and search by using your booking number, it will show how many Mini's are booked and a the time each one is on board.
Also the WW sight is still showing that Tagus has not departed, as soon as it does it will highlited in red.
ASIfree is still showing underway to Sourth Hampton, but the SH port pages showing at berths 34/35 and a departure time 18:00 which was a few hours ago. So it looks a bit confusing at the present.

 

I don't think the Tagus has even made it to Southampton yet. It's currently scheduled to sail in around 3:30am...so just a few more hours now.

I'll be sooo happy when my guy is safely onboard the Tagus and on his way...once that's done it's just a long haul to Port Hueneme and maybe I can stop tracking it obsessively and get some work done.

But realistically, I don't think that's going to happen. I hear the Panama Canal has webcams...

I'm not going to be productive until I have about 1k miles on Scoop! Woe to my students this September!!! They're 7th graders. . .it's ok!

I read somewhere on another thread that once the boat is loaded and has left the port, that you can check to see if your mini's VIN number appears on the bill of lading? Anyone know anything about this?

 

I'm glad I got ready for the school year in June.

 

Sorry, my bad....I lost a day this week, thinking it was the 9th.

 

I've done many cruises in my life, and we always arrive at the port of departure the day before. We can usually find others at the hotel that we will be sailing with, and we have a good time that night. Last year one of the couples we met the night before, had wayyy to much fun and missed the boat!! They eventually caught up to us at the next port of call!! The morale of the story is, that if our minis decide to go out and party before boarding the boat tommorrow, they better have a designated mini that makes sure everyone gets on that ship!!

 

Lola is on board the Tagus with all of you. Let's hope the Captain updates his weather reports/positions soon. I'm tired of seeing Tagus off the coast of BC. Lola may be changing her name after she gets here. My wife doesn't like the name... I'm sure she'll speak to me though and tell me what name she likes! In the mean time... I will be thinking of all of you as we lay awake together at two in the morning, wishing we could sleep and dream of our Mini's....

 

Check it out -- the TAGUS is on Southampton VTS radar now...still on the long-range scan (lower corner) but looks like it's on track

 

The WW tracking site shows my PW/B MCS with lsd, sport susp, dsc, 16 inch s-winders, cloth seats, auto air, cold weather pkg, chrome interior, anthracite, and HI-FI was booked 7/30 to be on Tagus, and was received at their port 8/02.

 

According to the AISLive website, the Tagus is pulling into port now...

 

All our babies should load today. Here's hoping they ALL make it! Anyone who has the time (like those on a summer vacation....), please keep us informed of ship and cargo progress.

 

Well, Scoop is now loaded on Tagus! Departure from Southampton is moved up to Sunday 8/12. I guess that pre-cruise party is pretty wild
I'd rather have the slower loading time and know that the Minis are not being rushed into their berths, but can settle in and feel comfortable!!!

My MINI was finally born 8/7 and I was hoping it could hurry down in time for the TAGUS since the next ship (at least from WW) didn't look like it would leave until 8/20. It looks like the departure has been moved to the 12th tho. I hope the kids don't get into mischief during the wait

At our school we have to remove EVERYTHING from walls, etc. So I'll need 2 days to put all my artifacts up and cover the NEW textbooks!! So exciting! Actually, I need a diversion from this oh-so-wonderful MINI obsession!
