Mini2na...don't want to hold you up on your DP order...go ahead and place your order...I'm undecided about needing anything. Thanks for the generous offer though.

No too much here yet. Went for a walk this evening and not too slick. Kids want school to be out, but I'm making them do their homework anyway. (Mean Dad!)

Got all the presents wrapped today. Yesterday was the end of my tile job. I'll get some pics and post them for you soon.

Frodo is filthy. I have not ordered the Griot's waterless auto wash. Kinda scares me plus he just gets filthy the next time I take him out. Glad I have a good wax job.

Happy Holidays everyone. It's time for a NOG get together. Anyone want to suggest a time and date?

I got a few inches, but the wind blew it into burms. I am wondering what the ice will be like tomorrow though. If this freezes solid overnight, getting to work will be tricky. Everyone drive safely.

Molly is not be going anywhere...she will have to rest in her room for what looks like to be the rest of the week. We will drudge to work in the Durango, if we have to go in at all tomorrow. These Temps. are going to keep things quite FROZEN for the remainder of the week. They are now requiring Chains on the major Freeways. Things are NOT going to be pretty in the AM.
Did you see the reports of Ice/Snow forcasted for next Sunday??!!

Well, Kermit is going to prove to the world that he puddle jumps and ice skates too. We will just go quite slow. Wednesday and Thrusday they predicts lots more snow, though, so we may have to work from home those days.

Be safe!

C'mon, they should know that only Portlanders close school for an inch of snow!

How much SNOW do you have??

I haven't taken the yard stick outside so I'm just guessing that we have a couple of inches. Molly was able to come out to play last night when we went to dinner. I could tell she was a little upset about being couped up in the garage all week, she didn't want to go back in to the garage (steep driveway)!!

Have a Safe Weekend everybody...the Worst is yet to come, or so they say.

We have about 6 inches. Kermit stayed in his warm garage as I ventured out to Fisher's Landing. 'Tis getting a bit slick outside, so shopping has been postponed until Monday/Tuesday. Sounds like we are in for quite the storm. Everyone stay warm and be safe!!

We are approaching 4" at 2:00 and it is coming down steadily. Frodo has been out in the snow, but when there is a choice he stays home safe and sound. I'm not worried about his manners but rather the other crazy cars out there.

Remain safe!

Well in Spokane we have 2 ft in the valley and more in outlying areas. Due to the wind some places in my yard and the neighborhood have 4ft+ snow drifts!

More coming tonight!!!

WOW! We're getting more tonight also. Glad to see that your MINI is not one of the cars that's siting out in that snow.

Well Mini2na...Molly almost was. We let her come out and play today about 1PM, went to Lunch, and the Grocery Store. At least 2-3" of snow on the ground. You know how steep our Driveway is, well, I could not get Molly to go up it for anything. I backed her down, more like she slid back down a few times, and still I could not get her any farther up than the top of the Driveway. So Hubby and I ended up shoveling, spreading Ice Melt and Sanding. She is FINALLY tucked away nice and snug in her room.

Hehehe, the MINI hasn't arrived yet. She, 'Sliver', will be in Portland for pickup around the 2 week of January and I'll be driving her home via Seattle, so a 400+ mile trip in the middle of winter! She will be sharing the garage with the BMW, 'Flamer', when she gets home. Now there's a fight waiting to happen!!!

RJ - Good to hear that Molly is tucked away safely. I know that she does not have her winter coat yet.

iNetMann - Let's hope the weather cooperates for your trip, but the wait will be over soon. You have a very interesting website. Lots of history with your BMWs. I'd love to race some time. I used to do some parking lot / cone time trials with my bugeye Sprite. I loved it.

Well, we are at about 12" now. That's about 4" snow, 1" ice, 7" snow. I couldn't keep the drive cleared yesterday. No postal service OR trash pickup. We made it out in the Forester today. It did just fine. I can't say the same for the other insane drivers we met on the road.

We stayed home from work today. Hubby's office was closed, my work was open, but I don't have chains for the Durango. It was parked in the gravel on the side of the driveway. Around Noon today I finally decided that if I'm going to make it to work tomorrow it has to get on solid ground. So I cleaned it off, started it up, and was able to get it back up into the driveway on my 2nd attempt.

Mini2na, I know what you meant when you said, "I know that she does not have her winter coat yet. ". I've been looking from some Chains for her, Hubby likes the Spider thingys, and saw one other option that I still have to research. So yes, I now understand!!

We've got a white Christmas, but after a week of the stuff I'm not sure everyone is excited about it anymore.

Merry Christmas to all!

Hi All! Gee, it actually got down into the 20's for a few nights, and was a bitter 40 degrees here in OC! (I REFUSE to say "the OC. . . nobody ever did until that show came along! )

Unbelieveable weather you all have had. Glad all the MINIs are safe, dry and warm.

Did anyone else get the retrofit notification for shortening the tailpipes? Scoop gets hers done on Friday, along with a "Looksee appointment" for fluid and hose checks. God knows she needs that. She almost has 5K on her! Heh Heh.

Have a wonderful New Year, and stay safe! Maybe you all should freeze some Nog and celebrate in April when the snow melts.

Hi Scoopmama. Glad you and Scoop are well. I got the notice, but opted NOT to replace the one's I had. I liked the look of the pipes sticking out and have had no problems. Be sure to look at a car with the pipes done. Our dealership said over half of the people who came into to have it done have opted out.
