Any 4 spoke wheels out there?

Are there any 4 spoke wheels out there? I have been wanting the GP wheel as I love the design but I can't track down a US source and shipping from the UK is $365 (more than one rim alone).

Its sort of 4 spoked... Its really 8 spoked but the pairs of are really close together.

I know of two 4-spokers, both 15" and a bit goofy looking:

Work Equip 01: 15x7

Rota AutoX: 15x6.5

I doubt these are what you are looking for, but 4 spokes nonetheless...

Shoeboy,

Thanks for the post. Yeah, they are a little goofy aren't they. The black one would not be so bad if it did not have red on the outside.

Thanks,
k

I guess four spoke is probably not what I am looking for. Its probably more of an 8 spoke wheel I am after that is spaced in quadrants like the GP wheel. A true 4 spoke probably would look very weird. There are a few 5 spoke designs that a lot of people have but I do not like the assymetrical look of them. I like the symmetry of the GP wheel.

RallyMini,

Which ones are you talking about? Please post a picture or a link.

These? http://www.group5motorsport.com/main...t=WORK-EQUIP01

To me those look funny. They look like the spokes are really far back into the wheel. I also think they only come in 15 inch.

yup...they are posted above.

The spokes are far back in the wheel because that wheel is deep dish....thats a GOOD thing Deep dish is the best look you can have on your car And whats wrong with 15s?

Do you think this look could be pulled off in a Mini?

It would definitely have to be a lowered Jet Black Mini to even have a chance at pulling it off.

which look? Those wheels or just the lowered and deep dish wheels?

I think that they would be pretty hard to pull off, but totally do-able. You would need to get them nice and wide like 15x8 or 15x9 with an offset in the low 30's. And then put some 195 or 215 tires on there for the stretch....with the proper lowering, that should look great on just about any color mini. I think all minis have enough black accents to pull the little black highlights on those wheels off.

I will have wheels much like that (small, 3 piece, 8 inches wide) by next spring....i'm sure i can pull it off

IMO, no. Find someone with good photoshop skills to help you out. JCWDRIVER, you listening?

The great thing about a mini is that you can pull (almost) anything off. As long as it makes you happy, go for it!

I think that deep dish wheels are a nice touch on minis, and they are still not too common or overdone.

Here is sort of what I have in mind. If there was one similar to this with the single diagnal spoke removed those would be about perfect.

needless to say, this is about all the 4-spoke wheels that are on the market now besides looking into custom race rims and discontinued wheels. 4 spoke is kinda rare.
