I fabricated my bracket last spring. I'm doing a bit more modification to it but basically it's completed. Sid purchased his from a source. You'll have to ask him which one. I've see them and they are very nice. Too small for my lights (depth wise). Ask him or perhaps he'll see this and give an answer.
Oh, yeah..thanks on the grill. One of the first things I did when I got the car home. I used Vinyl tape type material (3M). It's been on a year and a half and it's holding up well. No chips etc. In fact most think it's painted. I opted for a semi gloss appearance. How do you do yours? Also changed to the 05 (smooth grill). Not on the images. I just changed over last fall. I like it so much better than the "grooved one". Easier to clean and goes along much better with the headlight chrome trim section.

I had a few spare grills lying around so i just sprayed mine black, but i have been looking for impact resistant vinyl for some time now (mine only has 1 chip, but im bound to get more
) ....your vouche for 3M is great
apparently great minds think alike
because i changed over to the 2005 model grill as well...I'm slowly shaving and smoothing my whole car

Naw, I don't worry about it too much.. I'm so used to dealing with parking "selectively" My TR6 is bumperless... Much cleaner lines... But any impact will leave a mark!
But car designers..well, what can you say? The "Look" is all important!!!

I liked his install... Enough that I am going to modify my existing bracket.. See, we learn from each other for a better end result!CXRK
Chris's lamps are HUGE
He had to custom weld extra heavy duty brackets to hold them double D ***** steady...talk about high beams
Now we got Josh doubling up with ideas of his own using the same brackets I used. Come Thursday evening at Fontana village...put your sunglasses on

Dig the placement of the driving lights. How was that set up?
Thanks for the compliment! I fabricated a a joined bracket with four attachpoints that mount to the bumper. Two of them are threaded inserts and two are tapped in. I think I will modify it in the spring and add two more "L" sections to mount to the forward section of the bumper as well as underneath. Overkill maybe, but the lamps are fairly heavy and I would like to get as little vibration as possible. I have some now and after seeing Sid's new brackets I see a way to resolve it. Why I didn't think of this earlier I'll never know!
So far everything seems kosher. PIAA'a wiring kit was excellent and I wired as close to "invisible" as I could when you open the bonnet. They DO light up the night though..Love it!

.Josh is putting them closer together? Better watch it....Depending..they may look like buck teeth
