Many spare parts off my just sold 2006 MCSC, which I will try to group as much as possible, so look for other ads. Here are an after-market glove box divider, the Mini OEM windshield sun shade (& sleeve to carry it), The CG Lock, & the Mini OEM convertible wind screen (& carrier for it, with working Velcro & zippers). Other than the wind screen, these will fit more than just the R52. PM me with questions.

I've been researching the 1st generation version, which is the one being sold here. Apparently they are not plentiful, especially the checkered flag variety, which is this one I've listed FS. I have also seen varieties without the very sturdy carry satchel this one comes with (with both zipper and Velcro closures and a carry strap for ease of portability). When comparing mine to other possibilities, make sure you are aware of the differences.

This link below is for a brand new one, but ONLY available in the solid black version. However, it is the one with the proper carry case and partly, besides that it is MINI OEM, what made them so expensive.

I've seen a few used ones on eBay too, but again in solid black only (as of when I looked for them) and only coming from UK. With shipping outside of the UK, those are asking well over $300.

Other than the carry satchel being a little dirty from being in and out of the boot, the wind deflector and case are as good as new. Last one I could find sold here on NAM that popped up in a search was for $250 plus shipping and that was quite a few years ago.

Thanks for asking. I'd like to net $30 out of it, so it depends on how you want to pay and where I'd be shipping, but guessing, again depending on the variables, $35-$37 ought to cover it. I've had a few inquires, including a package deal for it with other items, but at the moment it has no set deal that has been paid for as yet.

 

CG LOCK is now sold. Thanks!! The rest generated interest, but nothing final as yet.

 

I cannot believe not one inquiry about the glove box organizer. Maybe everyone has one. Can't tell you how handy this was to have to give much more functionality to the large box that had no compartments. If you don't have one, you need one. It is a pleasure to have in your box!

Thanks for asking. I estimate that shipping & PayPal fees will be close to $10 based on it's size and weight and USPS estimator of standard shipping, so I'd say $30 all in, as I'd like to get $20 for it. There's not a thing wrong with it (the felt coating shows minimal signs of wear). LMK.

For those who have a cabrio without a windscreen this is the best opportunity to get an OEM one in excellent condition including carry case and in rare checker pattern.

 

Glove Box organizer sale not yet locked down, but looks plausible. Those with Cabrios are missing a fantastic chance though on the wind deflector Almost got sold, but repair tragedy took precedence for that buyer.

The wind deflector remains available. Initial inquirer bowed out. These are not easy to find, especially in the checker mesh pattern, and including the superior carry bag, and especially in a used condition that looks and functions as good as new. As it seems to be only item left (I expect the glove box organizer to go very soon), what I'd like for it is $250, after costs of shipping, etc.

 

Selling a part unique to a convertible in late August seems like selling snow to Eskimos.

 

If you have a convertible and no wind deflector, you really don't know what you're missing. I didn't have one initially. Boy, what a difference!

 

Glove Box Organizer is supposedly sold, but payment was due today and it has not been made. I have written a PM inquiring if I misunderstood as I don't want to disappoint the first person who appeared to have made a legitimate acceptance. Update:

It was bound to happen sooner or later, as I revived 2 payments last night. One is clearly for the glove box organizer. The other appears to be too, but that one arrived without a shipping address or other comment. I will be returning one payment after getting clarification on the one with no shipping address, as it arrived first. Simple miscommunication, or lack of thorough communications was obviously to blame in this SNAFU. Hope to get this straightened out today so I can satisfy both parties, one with a shipment and the other with a refund. Check out the other items though. Lots of good stuff here.

 

Glove box organizer is sold. Returning payment made on it to second buyer tonight via PayPal. Apologies for the inconvenience. Hope second payer finds another as they are a true convenience. All that remains from this group is the indispensable wind deflector. For those with a convertible and the resources it is actually the best buy here. Was asked if it fits a gen 2. Wish I knew one way or the other, but I don't.
