Need help with some wheels for my R56

I have a base mini r56, I saw some wheels being sold online and they look nice but I not sure if they'd fit my mini. I've tried looking to see what the spec of my wheel is but it's all crazy confusing as everyone seems to switch up how they define their wheel size/fitment. Anyway these are the wheels and I'm hoping someone will know if they fit my mini
also it has this branded at the back. "3908" "17/.9.0J"

A 9" wheel width is pretty extreme. You also need to know the PCD (bolt pattern), ET (offset) and center bore.

The picture shows a 5-lug wheel, which will not fit your 4-lug R56

Yeah I remember someone saying if should be 17x45 or something of the sort? Im not sure what the 9 is for but it seems to have the 4 lug part as well since I've seen wheels for my car with the 10 holes. He said they're universal.
thank you for your help I just hope they fit cause I want that look for my mini!

Oh also how would I find out the PCD? And the ET and Center Bore?

You'd have to ask the seller or find specifications for the wheels online.

The first number (51/2Jx15) is the width (5.5") and diameter (15") of the wheel and 45 is the offset (ET).

You may find the following reference helpful ...

Also check the Tire Rack for wheels.

Again, if the wheels pictured in the first post are the ones you want, they won’t fit because they are drilled for a 5-bolt hub. Your R56 has a 4-bolt hub. It doesn’t matter if the diameter, width, and offset are correct or not. If the bolt pattern is wrong, wheels won’t fit.
