Compact Spare Lug Nut Size for a MCS

Does anyone know if the S-lite lugnuts will fit the compact spare? I haven't received the compact spare wheel yet so I am unable to determine the size. If they don't fit which ones should I purchase?

Thanks.

I guessing eBay? If from somewhere else, could you say where?

I've been thinking of getting one of those for longer trips...now that I have non runflats for the summer and Blizzaks for the winter. But i do have a question... The compact spare is a 15" wheel, right? How is it to drive with that on one wheel and 17s on the other 3? Does anyone have any first hand eperience of that?

I'm curious about the lug nut issue too.

Yes, the lugnuts on the MC and MCS are the same for all sized wheels and will fit the compact spare wheel (from the MC) as well. You should be fine to use the compact spare with your MCS and 17" wheels.

The speed limit on the spare is 50 mph so it's probably okay for city driving and some freeway driving with the hazard lights on. The diameter between the 175/65/15 cooper tire and the 205/45/17 is .3 inch difference so that should not be a concern. The 215/45/17 is .6 taller..again not much difference.

I didn't buy it via e-bay. What I did was I search the wrecking yards for it on the internet and bought it from a place in Georgia. It's a one off thing and they told me it looked unused and he was correct They packed it nicely and I received it four days later.

Thanks...the friendly folks at roadfly told me the same thing so you have just confirmed that.

What search engine did you use and what search terms, I tried and came up with nothing. Thanks

It's the luck of the draw. You have to search the wreaking yards and see who has one..and keep looking when you aren't successful the first time.
