Awesome Idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an awesome idea for my S-Lites:
Remove the factory paint that's on them, and since they're aluminum, (or at least I think??!!), taking fine grain steel wool to them and give them that brushed stainless steel look. Then polishing them!!!!!!
Is this a good, or in my thoughts, a great idea???
Anyone done this before???

Thanks in Advance!!!!!

The steel wool part, I thinking. I have yet to figure out how to get the paint off.
I just thought it might be something to try.

Wheels

Have them sandblasted by a wheel shop and then polished. Might cost a bit. I would also worry about the bare aluminum alloy not holding up so well.

I am going to have mine polished. Don't sandblast them first if you want a smooth polish.

I've also been told not to sandblast something that's later getting polish.

What color is your car?
