Speedo Wheels?? Anyone heard of these? (updated w/PICS)

Hey all...

I ran into a guy today with some sweet lookin' black wheels on his EB/W MCS. I was talkin' to him and he said they're "Speedo." I did a quick search on google but couldn't find really anything on them. Anyone heard of these wheels or have any experience with them?

Thanks!
Miles

*****Aight, so I saw an integra with (I think) the same wheels... Check it out... Sorry for the bad quality, the pictures were at school this morning with my Clie camera.

Nope, wasn't speedy... just checked out that link and nothing looks familiar, or in the same style genre.

Yeah I'm a SCMM member

Ah actually Sunday meets are a no-go for me... I have church in the morning so unless it's an afternoon meet I won't be able to make it. Hopefully soon we'll meet up though!

If you have to be somewhere, Church is a pretty good place.

I agree. Thanks!

So, back to the subject, lol... Think anyone could help me out with these wheels? I looked some more and I just can't seem to find 'em!

Hmm.... Those are close, but still nothing looks familiar.

These are the closest thing I can find, only the ones the guy had today were black, not grey.

Were they 'Speedline', perhaps?

Have a look at the 2208:

Those are pretty close too... Just that the ones I saw had thicker spokes.

Haha... suck a wild goose chase we're on here!

Rota Slipstreams maybe...?

http://rspeed.net/mini/item.asp?dept...6&prod=405-512

Several members of the local MINI club are running these in flat black in 16"; they look pretty sharp and are very light at a very reasonable price.

Looks like the Rota Slipstreams to me too, but they are replicas of the very expensive Spoon wheels.
