I really think the Kosie K-1 TS (Twin Spoke) is a great looking wheel plus, at only 14.3 lbs for the 17X7 its light. Price is very reasonable. Unfortunately, its not available in WHITE. Since I have a Chilli Red/White MCS, I really want to stay with the white wheels but, damn... need to get rid of those heavy S-Lites.
I spoke to Alex @ Tire Rack with hopes they could be special ordered in white. He told me that its possible but, would have to order about 50 sets (200) wheels to make it happen and it would take about 90 days to get them. He said that Tire Rack would have to take pre-orders before they would place order to Kosie, however, I'm not sure if all 50 sets would have to be pre-sold and if all would have to be 17s or if could be a mix of 17s and 16s.
At any rate, for those who would like to get some trick and Exclusive (remember only 50 sets would be available ) white wheels.. now is the time to speak up.

 

If we have enough interested, I can persue this specail order. The'd need to be totaly presold, and all identical dimensions. Please let us know if your interested.

When that was made its offset was 35 on 7 inch, way to agressive for Mini.

Or you could just buy a sctratced up used set off ebay and have the refinished in white. I saw a set on ebay for $600 with newish kumho's.

I bet a local body shop may be able to spray them over, or mabey an ultrviolet powdercoater.

Not sure but, looks like about $60.00 each to powdercoat + $199.00 for the wheel and now were in the SSR range.

 

Bump: This is killing me Looks like I'm going to have to settle for the Kosie K-1 Racer in white. They are nice but, IMHO not as nice as the K-1 TS would be in white.

Just as a note. I'm getting the R90's painted in white and a few scratches fixed. All the fix/paint work + mounting & balancing will cost $480 total from a shop that many friends recommend. R90's are also a bit more detailed than the TS's will be.

I still think if you get a used set painted/ fixed it will be < $1,000 with decent tires with 50% tread as long as the rims aren't bent. Curb rash should be ok.
