Rim fitment question help please

Hey guys.. Was just wondering if a 16x9 et35 rim will fit my 2007 mini cooper s any input would be very much appricated thanks

I don't know much about fitting ultra-wide wheels and tires to MCSs, but my guess is that the 16X9 wheel would be a tough fit. You could move the wheels out some with spacers, but you'd probably still have a problem fitting a tire within the acceptable width and diameter ranges. A 9" wide rim needs a tire width somewhere between 245 and 265, and there are not many tires of those widths in the 16" diameter to choose from; particularly if you're trying to stay within an inch of OE tire diameter. Even if you could make all that extra material fit, there would likely be a substantial weight gain at each corner; thus, a reduction in acceleration and braking performances.

So creeve like i said ill need 10mm spacers all around an ill sit tht that car btw is that yours.. ??

yup a 10 should do it. no its a guy from another site, he has since sold it I believe. my car is the one in my sig.

But creeve theres a guy on here named soytea and he has the same wheels only with a 30 et not a 35 and hes not running spacers on his 2010 s mines a 2007 if that maters

Would 16x9 et 15 for the back and 16x9 et 25 work on the front for the mini

The link to soytea's setup answered my question (post #4) anyway. He had 205/45/16 Falken 912s mounted on his 16X9 wheels. He also had V-Maxx coilovers.
