KWV1 (Boston roads setting) & Conti DWS 205/50R16 & NM 22mm (mid setting) RSB

Great ride, (seriously) amazing handling, no rubbing, no problems.

That looks great! I have the ST's which I'm told are the same as the KW V1s. I'll be on 16x7 Konig Feathers with 205/50/16 S.Drives. Subscribing to this thread, I hope other lowered Coopers post up! When I do my swap in the spring I certainly will.

I'm not a tire and wheel expert by any means, but I don't think I've heard of many people running 9" wide wheels. I got a few hits searching "16x9" in this thread:

I think you can put any set-up on any car if you modify it in some way. (Spacers, ride height adj., fender mods, etc.) You must decide whether you are going for aesthetics, ride, handling, or combinations of the three. I personally went for handling with ride in consideration, and got aesthetics as a bonus in my opinion. There is a ton of info/pics on this site related to lowering, tires, etc. Do some searches. I (heart) my set-up, my little car can freakin' rip the corners and twisties but rides decently around the city. And it can be downright scary at times, just the way I like it... Good luck. Have fun, isn't that what this car is all about?
