White Wheels! Help!

Hey Guys,

I have a 2004 BRG/W R50, And I'm just getting into the modification phase. But! I have a problem, I went onto tirerack and they only have 3 options for white wheels! So, I guess what I'm asking is... Where else can I go to look for white wheels? Do you guys have any favorite white wheels? Any Reccomendations, Anything, Please help!

Back to work!

Eric

Are you necessarily looking for aftermarket wheels? The OEM R81 wheels ("Holies") were available in white and are a pretty good-looking wheel. It's a bit of a tight fit, but you can put 205-50/15 tires on them. I have the Falken Azenis in that size on my autocross wheels and they're nice a sticky.

You know, I was looking at the same wheels that I have now in white(5 Spokes). but I want a thin spoke wheel, Because I think down the road I'm going to get new rotors and I just like the look of "Less" wheel.

You might want to check out the vendor talk section and ESM wheels. They have a white wheel which looks pretty good on a MINI.

Alex,

The only downside is the price, they are beautiful wheels. I'm debating though.

Check out my gallery for the Pro Race by Team Dynamics. Yea, they do help keep your car clean.... because if the wheels are dirty the Mini needs a wash. they may be APITA to keep clean but, by doing so your Mini is going to look great!

Discounttiredirect.com, 1010tires.com and Wheelfire.com are sights that I have heard good things about in addition to Tirerack.com.

Plus 1 for discounttiredirect.com. I have not found a better price on the web than theirs.

Slightly off topic, however.

Why not just get the current wheels powder coated? I have read in other threads that the OEM wheels are pretty much the strongest wheels ( from a pothole bending the rim sort of POV ). I'm seriously considering PC'ing my OEM wheels at this point.

What does everyone think? Rim design aside, is it an even bet to go with aftermarket rims? Or perhaps there are specific brands of rims to stay away from / look at.

That's been the first thing I wanted to do since day one, but I like the thin spoked wheels, but ultimately what i'm going to do is paint mine white this weekend, if I absolutely hate it. I'll get new wheels. Will post pics soon

Allegrittas are the way to go I have them. Also search by brand or just Google white wheels. You got watch out for quality you have to pay.

Allegrittas are the ones I want, but they're too costly for the moment

I would do horrible, horrible things for these wheels. You can grab 18"s for around four hunny a piece now.

Save of for what you want then. Don't buy something that is not going to be what you really want.
