Read this: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...-cooper-s.html

The short answer: typically no.
The long answer is only a very small subset of 15" wheels fit, but overall you'll want to start in the 16" diameter.

Has anyone tried fitting a 2006 mini with 17x8.25 et 25s? just ordered a set of XXR 527s and was wondering if anyone has had some rubbing issues?

Most aggressive setup I have seen was 9.75 et25, which is still less poke. He ran 215s though.

Too much stretch poke for my taste. Hope you are prepared to dial in a ton of camber, you will need that at the least. Good luck

I'm looking to prolly use the same et(maybe less aggressive offset up front) setup but I'm on air, my question is if that camber in the back is natural or
Did you use adjustable control links? I'd like to sit flush fender to lips do you think this is possible with ur Setup maybe a 195/40 tire in the fronts?
Thanks

Is this setup last setup flush?(black mini) If so I'm on air and was curious if these would tuck due to natural camber. I'd like to be flush what do you guys think? Obviously smaller tires

Hey guys I'm looking at putting these XXR 535 17X18.25's at all 4 corners on a stock suspension set up for now.. looking at Koni yellows with a mild drop on a set of springs in the future.. will this cause an issue on the stock tire size up front?

A lot of old classic photos here. These are gen 1's. I've been on for 6 years and these keep resurfacing. Where's the new guys? Take a risk!

I just can't stand the guys that constantly quote a bunch of pictures instead of properly quoting the picture they ask a question about.

need to get a bit more camber on the rear so I can drop it a bit more, but you get the general idea. Been done before I know, but I love it, and before the haters get on their soap boxes about "you can't drive it on those etc" I DO drive it hard, and if I really want to cane it around a track I've got a set of spare wheels and tyres in a more "normal" size. At the end of the day, it's mine and it makes me happy. End of.....

Bringing back an awesome dead.
Hi all I read everything on this subject but will ask first before I pull the trigger, just to say I hate the r56 stance and like to change that,I am looking at 2 sets of wheels #1 is a 15x8 4x100 et35 based on what I see not all 15's will fit this is a bbs rs style reps.#2 16x8 et 33 same rims, currently on my r56 S I have 17x8.25 et22 my Megan euros II'S are ready to go on the car and I don't think I will achieve the lowering I like with those 17's since there is a lot of poke.will they clear the r56 caliper? Or I may need spacers.
Please help in this matter I really do appreciate any advice.
Thx
Ben

I don't believe 15s will clear the R56 calipers. Would need the 16s. Those 17s sound too aggressive, unless you REALLY go camber-ghini on it.

Certain 15s fit over the R56 brakes but not many. My gut says those will not but it's hard to tell.

Thx
