So I have 03 MCS. I am looking for 18's what is the most agressive offset I can get? Still keeping it a daily drive? I have a stock suspension. Looking to do shocks and springs also.
I was looking at http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

Thoughts?

Those will fit fine. They aren't aggressive. Aggressive would be something like 18x8.5 et30. As far a what you can daily drive, that is a matter of opinion.

Are you planning on lowering the car at all? If you are anything larger then 205/40 is likely to rub.

I have a set of 17x8 et30 coming in soon and I am slightly worried about the 205/40 I bought for them rubbing. But I am lowered around 3".

The only way to know for sure is to try it on your car, as there are minor differences from car to car.
Agree with Creeve.........
For this fitment however, I would bet $$ that the 225s will rub like crazy in the rear, with an et of 25 the wheel centers are really pushed outward, almost an inch more than stock. I doubt the 215s will even fit.

Those are cool looking wheels and they are fairly light. You can try 225/40 r comps which have a short tirewall that you can use for track. You can also use 215/40 with a slight stretch. Some stretch is actually good because it stiffens the tirewall for sharper response. Good tires avail for 215/40 ie. Dunlop star specs and yoko ad08's.

yea i could try but i really dont want to buy tires and get them put on then have them not fit for sure ya know? I want to sell these and get the O.Z. Alleggerita HLT's. Still super light and there 17x7 and with some r comps on them they should do just fine for the autox and track time

Check our site galley for more pixs. We have the wheels in a higher offset if the low is too much poke. We have something for everyone

Those Wheels are alomst identical to the borbet Type A, that were very popular during the late 80s and early 90s, they look real nice on the Mini

RH AQ Maxilite. 17x8.5 ET30 (I think). Currently has 225/45 Vredestein Quatrac 3. Just traded this in for a 2011 Cooper and I might put these on that.
