Flik Apex2/SSP Type C

Picked up a new set of wheels for the street. Flik Apex2 from edge racing; however, they are labeled SSP type C. Basically a SSR Competition knock-off. The center caps are horrible so I'll probably just take them off. They'll work fine for the street. Also made the swith to studs using Pilo Racings kit ... it is very nice.

16x7, 205/50/16s. Lowered on KW Variant 1.

Please, Please Don't do this. I know it may be a little of topic. But then again, do what you like.

I won't say who this is or which "worlds leader in MINI Cooper accessories and complete MINI Cooper S cars" shop this is.

Oh, here is the description.
*&%$ #&$% FIVE SPOKE 18" RIMS. *&%$ #&$% design with wide lip and mono block spokes. Extremely strong. Two step powder coat system with powder coat lugs and BMW centers.#&$% grey or winter black.

I'm not trying to be mean but.....eh, I don't want to get in to it.

Mr/Ms/Mrs. Golden_child:
Do you know the off set of those kick *** wheels? (Oh and if you really didn't want to let anyone know who makes 'em, you wouldn't have linked the image from their website. You should have uploaded the pics to your NAM gallery and linked them from there. Just pointing that small thing out b/c I wasn't sure if you were serious or not. Not trying to be difficult either, just helpful. )

My curiosity was piqued when the website claimed the founder of the shop to be "one of the world's greatest living abstract expressionists". Not that Google is the ultimate measure of such things, but a search on his name turns up little more than his personal website.

You go first

Saw this mentioned on MINI2. Spinners are so yesterday.
High tech LED wheels display images as they spin.
Hmmm.... MINI logo on one wheel, Union Jack on another....

The wheel is called PimpStar. See the video: http://customwheel.com/pimpstar.html

But... will they rub?

I know lots of people have seen my wheels already, just wanted to wait for a clean pic, not in my poo driveway. And ignore my retard hand. Wife took the pic mid-stride.

Took me a few weeks of searching high and low to find wheels that would fit my car & theme... I found these at http://perfectlyround.com, and got a set from the first batch when they were made earlier this month.

For the link lazy, they are 18-inch "Pypz" by HiPerformance Designs (HPD).
