From Tire Rack $199.00 ea. and that included caps & Hub-Rings. They don't come in white so I got them in silver and had powdercoated which cost me another $30.00 per wheel. 17X7 , only 14 lbs. Yes you can feel the difference in accel & braking (remember I had the s-lites @ 25 lbs ea.) Its hard to find a strong 14 lb. wheel for under $400.00. I just looked at your gallery. Actually the silver is a light silver and would look good on your Mini with out powdercoating in white. You may want to consider getting the mirrors painted black (or same color as silver wheels) if you went with silver. Just pointing out options.

Thanks apexer. I was just wondering cause I just dropped $225 a wheel on Ro-ja's. I was looking for something like those Kosei's, and when I saw them and that they were white, I wanted to kick myself. But since I paid about the same and I am happy with the way the ro-ja's look, I no longer need to kick myself, lol.

Yeh, the ro-ja's will look nice and price is in ball-park. Any idea as to weight of the ro-ja's?

Just found the info here: http://www.importtuner.com/features/..._wheelguide03/ Looks like 15lbs each. I too will be going from the S-not-so-lites to these, as well as dropping the runflats. Hopefully I will feel a difference.

If you guys (gal) are looking at aftermarket wheels like these then you should really be looking at a 7.5" wide rim rather then a 7" wide. Any tire, 205 to 225 will fit much better on the 7.5 and WILL improve handling that much more.

What makes you think a 205 will fit better on a 7 1/2" rim than on a 7" rim?

Also, 215's fit fine on a 7" rim (even according to the tire manufacturers) and a 7" rim will weigh less than a 7 1/2" rim.

So why do you think a Mini rolling on a 7 1/2" rim will handle better than it will on a 7" rim?

From experience mostly. I gather some tire manufactures recommend different sizes. It's better to stretch the tire a 'bit', then to pinch it. The sidewall will flex more on a 7" the a 7.5".
Anyway, just sharing my experience. Of course it's up to the individual.

I asked Alex from tirerack if I should get 7 or 7.5 inch wheels should I one day actually decide to buy some, and he said the 7.5 would be better for my setup (16 in., summer tires - goodyear GS D3's). Here's his quote: the sidewall of the tire with be a perfect 90 degree's - no overhang, minimal stretch, but within spec

That's funny because he sold me the 7" BBS RV-F and they also sell the 7 1/2" RV-F (their website is still messed up and show both as being 7 1/2").

What make/size tires are you running?

When looking at rims at Tirerack, you can see that 205 width tires are listed by 7.5 inch wheels as the default and 195 width comes up on the 7 inch wheels. So I guess 185 would be perfect for 6.5 inch rims.

excellent wheel choice
I've had mine for a while and they've held up surprisingly well on the very poor roads in OKC

Goodyear F1 GS-D3 in 205/50/16 on the 6.5 in. v-spokes. I was inquiring with alex because one day I will actually pull the trigger and buy an aftermarket 16 in. wheel and wanted to know the best size for the aforementioned tire and size.
