I was about to ask that . Wheelweights.net says the 17x7.5 is 20 lbs but nothing in the 15 or 16" sizes.

Since it's been a few years (page 7, post 169) since I posted to this thread, I figured it's time for an update:

My new (to me) car show wheels, only on the car for about 30 minutes then put in storage until spring or until I can't stand it anymore
ATS Comp 18x7 ET 40 weight around 20 (19.1 on one site ~ 21 on another)
Searching for a new / different center cap, anyone got a lead on a vendor...

A local shop told me 17x7.5 are around 19lbs.

Hi
are those tires Hankook K104?
how you like them so far?
what size are you using?

I'm thinking of having a spare 3rd set
since I can get these tires for dirt cheap
not sure on rims size though (16's, 17's or 18's)

let me know
regards,
Charles

Charles - no they came wrapped with the Kumo Ecsta 215/35/18. I only took it down the road for a few miles to make sure I had no vibration, so I cant really say how I like them.

I found the weight (http://www.advancedautosport.com/samples.htm) to be 9.8kg which works out to 21.6 and the wheelweights.net site had them at 19.1. But like I said, I plan to use them only as a car show / MINI meet type wheel. The mountain roads around here aren't very forgiving

I finally got around to putting my new wheels and tires on. 17X7 Enkei RPO2, ET 40 and Yoko ES 100's, 215/45.

I like how they fill out the opening a little more than my 16's did.

Nice color, nice wheels and very nice picture.
I almost bought a red car from the local dealer but found my convertible brand new on ebay for less money than the coupe and with way more options, but red was my first choice, and I love those wheels on that red.

Thanks for all the comments on the pictures guys. My friend actually helped me out on them--he has a Canon Digital Rebel. Too bad the lighting isn't what I was really going for, but I really liked the placement of the car with the stairs and the exit sign.

Hamman HM4's

I agree with Hamann that the HM4's are the best wheels out there. Yes they are heavy but they look excellent. Frankly, all the Hamann applications are excellent.

AND as Hamann says buy a porsche for performance. Folks I have both and the 997 definitely gets the nod. Yes, the MCS is a great car in the corners and but there's nothing like the feel of taking a 911 out of a corner. The cornering of the 911 is nothing to sneeze at either. The 997 picture included is delivery day and things don't get much better (delivery of the MCSC JCW was a close second).

Both are excellent cars. My MCSC JCW will be posted in the marketplace and ebay in the coming week.

Porsche is plain. Ferrari is where it's at.

Don't take it the wrong way though, I love that Hamann front! What did you pay for it?

I believe they list at $850 but I picked it up for $680. Definitely different from the stock aero kit. Easy to install (I had it professionally done) but they said it was very easy. A nice alternative.

Not if you enjoy actually driving your car. Ferraris are nice pieces of garage jewelry that you take to a restaurant once a week.
