Why aren't the CV's still available? They just came out not even a year ago, correct?

Yeah, I thought they were newer as well - saw them for the first time just the other day at SF MINI where they have them on display (for sale at some horrible price I'm sure).

Someone had made the reference that those "were his favorite rim." I just looked at Tireracks website, and they don't show those as an option for the Mini...

I finally ordered a set wheels. Since they are 17"s, and I have fairly new 16" tires, here is a photoshop until the 16"s wear out and I put the new wheels on.

Kenchan,
I emailed Alex of tirerack a few months back, he said they didn't have the CV's in the bolt pattern of the MINI. I bought my set here in the Philippines from the BBS distributor. It is available, just not through tirerack. By the way, you will get a little rubbing with these on. With trimmed flares and 205/45's it still rubbed. With trimmed flares and 215/40's the rubbing was gone.

thanks, john-

yah, tirerack as the RG-R's which also use similar (+37? +38mm?) and people
experimented with some dremel action for their setup. 215/40 sounds good.
your wheels look awesome!

www.gmpperformance.com has them in 4x100
