That's just sidewall flex, motor on; we're not used to seeing that with the runflats, remember? ;-) I ran into a guy yesterday (who autocrosses a Lotus Seven replica kit) who was very complimentary; he said these remind him of the classic Minilite wheels. They really do, and I think they look *much* nicer than the larger ASA brand wheels with a similar style that I've seen on TireRack.com.

My new wheels - picture taken with my cel phone, so not great quality.

Kosei 17" racing rims, 14.1 lbs each. The difference compared to the slites is AMAZING....

I finally got my wheels on my MINI! (18" RacingHart)

3 quick pics, and a dirty MINI lol
(btw, my chrome mirror caps are missing on those pics... I need to re-install them now!)

LOL good one!

Brakes must be hiding somewhere behind those wheels...

I don't have a big brake kit, but I have the ProMINI brakekit, and it's great for what I do with the car. (StopTech discs & brakelines, Mintex Redbox pads, and brake fluid) But a big brake kit would be great too!!

Thanks!

I had S-Lite wheels before, and those RH wheels weight a lot less than those heavy S-Lite! I can feel it on the road...

I really don't know why MINI call those S-Lite "Lite".... they are heavy but at least bulletproof! (when you hit a pothole with those, you enlarge the hole, not damage the wheel.. lol)

And there's no RacingHart that will look like mine! Custom paint makes them "one of a kind" lol

Thanks ! Any pics of your wheels??

My MCS is lowered with H&R Sport springs (.75" front, 1" rear)

The ride is great and it handles really great! I only wish H&R springs lower the front-end a bit more...

Not yet... like I said, I'll be getting them soon, I hope to place an order by the end of this week... We'll see what happens... Car won't be dropped for a while though, not enough funds for springs (anyone selling some springs at a ridiculously cheap price?)

DarkMCS, what tires are you running? what size?

Cool! Make sure to post pics of those wheels as soon as you get them!!

I got Hankook Ventus K102 with the wheels. (215-35-18). All fits well and don't rub. I know those tires are not the best, but they do the job really well.

And about a good deal on lowering springs, make sure to check frequently the "for sale" section of this forum! Many good deals do show up, but they sell quickly, so make sure you gte your hands on one of those! lol
