I prefer not to give the price directly in the thread. Since the thread lasts forever into history, but prices change over time, I'd rather people clicked on the web link from the first post. (Here it is again...) That way they'll always have the current price.

Hey Dan, two quick questions on these. When you say they 'bulge' a bit using 235/40/17 tires, what exactly do you mean? I'm considering that exact setup, lowered on Mach V springs and want to avoid any rubbing or similar issues.

Also any pics of the RB's in silver yet?

Thanks

probably that the tire extends past the lip. a good thing for curb-resistance!

Very true, especially since I have to parallel park against the curb quite often. Much better that than a stretched tire.

So Dan, did you get any rubbing at all with the stock suspension, H&R springs or Mach V's??? I remember at different times you were running on each. I'm considering the RB's with 235/40/17 GS-D3's.

Also anyone put these or other gunmetal wheels on a PW MINI??? Just wondering how they'll look. I'm really digging these wheels! Also you guys (Mach V) aren't too far from me so I can come and pick them up.

Only a very tiny bit of rubbing at absolutely full suspension compression -- so little I can't find where it's rubbing. Never on daily driving.

Great news, thanks! Do you have them in stock now??? And does your shop stock tires? Just trying to make my trip to VA as efficient as possible.

Yes, they are in stock. We sell tires, but the number of size/brand/type options are too many to stock them all, so we order them when we need them. It only takes 1-2 days.

Sweet! So any link or list of which tires you all do stock? I'm looking for A/S tires with the best possible balance of comfort, noise and grip. Also if I have you guys order them, is mounting and balancing on the RBs offered at the shop?

Thanks again

Woohoo, had my RBs installed yesterday they look amazing! All worries I had about the gunmetal not looking quite right on my PW/B MINI are completely eradicated. I know this post is pretty much useless without pictures, but my camera is out of commission at the moment. I'll get a couple pics taken with my cellphone ASAP though.

Also can't say enough good things about the Goodyear Eagle F1 all seasons. Great tire

Yes, please post a few pictures when you can. I have the same color combo and have been seriously looking at these wheels. Wonder how they would look with the aero kit?

Here they are! Crappiest pics ever (taken at night, under fluorescent lighting and with my phone) but it's the best I can do for now.
Much better pictures to come this weekend once the Eibach springs are installed, JCW black grille trim arrives and I finally get it tinted. Also I'll have a proper working camera by then.

I can't even say how much these pictures don't do the wheels justice. I'll just let the future pictures say it for me.

HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!! If you get the chance could you take a side pic?

If anyone has a picture of these on a PW R53 that would be awesome also. BTW, would there be any problem running the stock tire size on these or do I need to go wider. I read the thread but not sure if there is an issue on an R53 or not. Mine is the stock height and I am not lowering it. We'll might be lowered a .5" from JCW springs shortly.

Thanks! Sure thing, I'm gonna try to take some more pics today. If not then, again, by this weekend for sure.

What size are your stock tires, 205/45/17?

Thanks! It was definitely a risk going gunmetal over black, but it paid off for sure.

I have an appointment to get it tinted tomorrow morning, so I'm going to have the shop owner take pics with her DSLR (this same place did my boot stripes, so I'm familiar with them).

Scheduled to get the Eibachs installed Friday afternoon. Hopefully I'll get my camera back that same day or Saturday at the latest.

I installed the JCW black grille trim today. Such a better look IMO. Still not sure if I'm going to go with a complete black out, but that piece in particular gives the car a much more aggressive appearance.
Big thanks to Mach V. Ordered the grille trim Monday when I went in to pick up the Rotas, and it arrived this morning.
