We fired the old company that was making the springs and have a new company making all the springs. But they will have the same rate and lowering height as the original TSWs.

Way, glad to hear about your commitment to quality. New mini owner here, but seems like there is a ton of confidence out there in the quality of your products. So despite this thread, I too am considering buying TSW springs, although obviously the ride height issue concerns me. If that is solved, I think I'd be sold, as everyone says they handle great.

Potential customer here waiting for updates!

Just to be completely clear here is a very short summary of events:
1) I bought springs that increased my front ride height rather than lower, as advertised
2) I contacted Way and after some back and forth, he was kind enough to send me replacement fronts.
3) prior to me installing the replacements, Way posted that the last batch was manufactured with the incorrect wire size and that new springs would be remanufactured properly. My replacements had the same wire size so I didn't see any point in installing them. Looked for some feedback and didn't get any.
4) I checked in through posting on the forums, PMs, and email to get some assurance that I would get the new replacements with the correct wire size whenever they were ready. At no time did I ask for a time commitment, only that I would get new ones whenever they were ready. I still haven't received assurance. Some time has elapsed.

Other things I never mentioned before is that I bought these springs in a pkg with hsport comp rear sway bar and rear camber arms. These other pieces have been fantastic.

Questions for Way...

Do you have the new springs in stock and have you field tested them?

If they are made by a different company, are they still TSW springs (ie: what does TSW stand for?)?

Melangell, you have an R53 or R56? I didnt look into it greatly, since I dont have an R56, but I don't think there was an issue with the springs for 2nd gen MINIs.

Random question. My 2002 S has way to hard of suspension in 2004 I believe they softened the spring for the USA Market.. Will the TSW spring be a bit softer or will it be firmer?
