Why so little talk about rear strut bars?

Just wondering. Seems like a lot of talk about front strut bars and rear sway bars.

This seems like a really cool package to increase performance, though I wouldn't be thrilled with the loss of open area with the seats down.

Sorry to bring this up from the dead but I just installed one on my car. Slow to medium speed corners this part does absolutely nothing. Although there seems to be no more creaking noise from the rear. The car seems to be a tad more stable on high speed corners. I would say is there a huge difference no. I think one would really have to already upgraded everything else handling wise first in order to better feel the difference.

I just installed mine from GTT yesterday and I can feel a minor difference in the handling. It just feel more stable and planted when cornering. I mostly got it to help stop the creaking I was hearing from the back. It helped with that, but didn't stop it completely, but what do you expect from a 194k mile mini?

I like the design of this guys rear C-pillar bar as it allows for "pre-load".

He only has a package deal listed right now, but usually sells them separately.

I'm interested in hearing the gains with some of the M7 tuning packages. It's more expensive, but that will definitely remove most of the flex from the chassis. Not much info on here about that product though.
