Need actual Lowering Spring Drop #s for an R53
Hey Guys,
I've been searching all over to find the right struts/shocks and lowering springs to get an ideal drop to my 03 MCS R53. Ideally it would be great to get a package, such as the Bilstein/H&R sport suspension. But I find out that the drop ratings for the front and rear are only from a base cooper and that on an R53 that there will be less than 1/2" if any drop. I'm looking for an actual 3/4"-1" drop for a R53, NOT an R50. Like many threads I've read, no one wants to do the install more than once. I'm sure there are ideal match ups out there of springs and struts for daily driving. I'm in the process of asking places for #s and no one has responded except for a few that tell me to resort to coil-overs. Are there places with actual numbers for the drop on an R53?

Here's a link where members talk about actual drop and other associated items involved with lowering an S
Most people are right to tell you coilovers though...you can go as low as needed and they are only a bit more...sometimes even cheaper
