R56 Eibach Lowering Springs
Has anyone tried the Megan Lowering Springs .5" Front, .75" Rear? I want to get a better looking stance but don't want to go "to low". Also would I have to change the rear lower control arms?
Thanks,
Thanks,
I have eibach springs on my '11 S. It rides nice and stiff, rear was higher than front so I cut one coil off the springs.
It's pretty level now and still rides fine.
It is definitely not too low, I have no trouble with speed bumps or rubbing.
I did get adjustable rear control arms to get the camber right.

If the Eibachs drops the same as Nm springs by 1.2”, how can the Eibach springs lose suspension travel and be harsher in ride, yet the Nm springs have a higher spring rate than the Eibachs (I.e firmer) so wouldn’t the Nm also suffer from suspension travel also, if not worse?

I’m in the search for lowering springs for my 2013 S. I think that both the Eibach and the H&R springs would lower the car too much.
i I also want to get better handling and look. I’m going to look at the Megan springs. I did some measuring today to determine how much clearance there
is with the stock springs. I also installed Koni yellows last winter and they helped with the handling.
I had a Mustang
Cobra at one point and it was lowered too much and I experienced rubbing. Not a happy thing!

I have some eibachs that's for a convertible and my car is a hardtop. Does anyone know if putting these on will work?
I'm wondering if the spring rate for the rears is higher since convertibles have more weight in the rear which I'm thinking would cause the springs to be stiffer and prevent sag.
