Where can I get the plastic fitting that goes into bottom of coolant reservoir?
Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Clubman (R55), Cooper and Cooper S(R56), and Cabrio (R57).
Nice work. I would want to have more hose than just re-routing the OEM....So to be able to lift the tank out and further be out of the way for oil changes ect without having to undo it again. Any idea what hose ID to try? Might be one of those things where you take the hose into the store and just go through all their various heater hoses looking for that magic fit.

That was my intention but when I got home and 3/4 ID didn't fit, so I tried the existing hose. My immediate concern was my system not holding pressure and losing coolant.
I am going to check with some of the OEM suppliers, sometimes they can get them and sometimes it's under contract.
That would be great if you could sell just that piece. So far mine is holding up after a few days of driving with just a band clamp over the hose with no elbow at all.
Remove the O Ring inside the fitting just be careful not to damage it. Then replace with a new one... This is the closest size I could find from ACE hardware it's for a faucet it's a snug fit and takes a little work to put it in the fitting but it works perfect for $0.99 you can't beat it.. Hope this helps...
