Changing coolant lines

Hi, I'm in the middle of changing out my coolant lines. However, when I look at the coolant line going to and from the cabin heater, there is just a metal band on those? I don't see a clip to allow me to remove the coolant lines to replace them.

How am I supposed to remove these to replace them?

Those fittings at the firewall have a C clip that pulls out and the fitting comes straight off. You wiggle it side to side, not round in circles, to remove.

So, those look like the have special end pieces (much like the water pipe). Plus it looks like Mini engineers found another way to engineer plastic into the very hot coolant system. What I was trying to do is use these pipes below and replace them. However, that looks like a nightmare because I would have to go and get a metal T-fitting for the Y and I would also need to figure out a way to put those special end pieces on the pipes. I don't think I am going to do this until these pipes completely fail.

This looks like the original.
