Did I mix up Fuel tank breather/Purge valve connector and EPPC solenoid connector?
N14 engine.
Scanner showed 2D52, DME: Super knocking
I pulled fuel pump fuse F46 out and run engine to empty fuel line till engine stopped. Unhook the battery negative. I removed Intake manifold and cleaned intake ports which had huge carbon residues. After I assembled all intake manifold, and parts together, I may crank engine however it won't start.
Fuse 46 works. No power is sent to fuel pump pin 2. If battery is connected directly to fuel pump, fuel pump works.
Intake manifold was removed again. I just realized that there are two 2-pins electrical connectors. The black inside electrical connector (0-1/D 31009 E) connects Fuel tank breather valve (Purge Valve). Its wire stretches from harness around the middle of fuel rail. The grey inside electrical connector (0-3/D 28609 E) connects EPPC solenoid. The wire comes out harness around intake port 3.
Did I make a mistake to mix up the two 2-pins connectors? however there are no trouble codes.
Does the mistake cause no start?
