No power to fuel pump
Hey guys, first time posting a question. My 2006 mini R53 just quit with no codes. Was running fine. I am aware that fuel pump and fuel pump relays are a known issue. Mine has about 100k Miles on it. I decided to just replace the fuel filter and fuel pump anyway. Still would not start. I then replace the fuse block as mine has the relay integral to the fuse block. Still will not start.
Any ideas?
thanks

No fuel pump running
checked the fuse inside the car, it has 12v on one side. appears nothing is triggering the fuel pump relay. when the key is in the on position, i get about 1.5v on the 15amp fuse F03 on engine bay fuse block. very puzzling.

Hi guys,
double checked the filter housing install. I pulled the plug on the pump and applied 12v directly and the pump operated properly.
I checked the codes and getting P1692. Will not clear. I also removed the battery, had it checked and reinstalled with a full charge. According to other threads, it is not clear to me how to diagnose the P1692 code. Seems the ECM is not allow the car to fire.
Any other help would be appreciated. really don't want to have it towed to the dealer.

This is a long shot but if our cars have an inertia switch it would be worth 2x checking that it didn't get tripped..
lol back in mY thunderbird ( mn12) days me and my buddies did it to each other constantly, all we had to do was slap the back 1/4 above the wheelwell and it was enough to trip the switch and cause no power to tge fuelpump because it would trip the switch THAT easily.

it seems his fuelpump isnot being told to turn on.. this actually sounds like a bad ecu if it were my guess.. if it just died randomly, new pump ect still no power to the pump. I've read a few posts where this were the guys exact problems and symptoms and it was ecu..
Do you have inpa ? Anything that can connect to the ecu to see if its functioning correctly? I wouldn't know what to look for exactly but if you can't connect at all to it , it might be a start..

P1692 from Bentley Junior ( ):
Tl;dr:
Throttle body (EDR) check to make sure it's plugged in then perhaps swap for known good one
Crankshaft pulley (very common)
