passenger window problem

Hey guys.......I've just recently (last 3 days) started having this issue with my 02 Mini....I woke up to a few days ago after it had been raining really hard the night before and was about to leave for work....went outside and my passenger window was all the way down....put it back up and dried the water as best I could...yesterday....same thing happened....twice.....put the window up and in about a half hour or so checked it ....back down again!!! I finally pulled the fuse....anyone else have or have had this issue???

Wonder is the footwell module is on its way out or you hit the open door button on your key fob in your pocket. To happen multiple times my guess is the module after that really hard rain, most people have a leak in the sunroof from the drian tubes being clogged and then the footwell module/BCM gets wet. 61356982114 Sometimes you can get lucky and dry them out. I would open them up and check for water damage.

Thanks! The guy I bought the car from didn't have a fob....just the "valet" key so it couldn't have been that I'm sure.....I think I' going to put the fuse back in and see if it does it again.

So you just have the normal key or a plastic key. The key if it has all the little buttons they should work unless it was a re-bladed key or something.
