hit the $20000 mark in repairs with 90000 miles

1 engine 89000m
1 auto transmission 85000m
2 turbo charger replacements
3or4 timing chains
3 sunroof replacements still dosnt wurk good
5+ electronic glitch repairs
MANY OTHER MINOR REPAIRS
many many many many many many visits to the dealer
50% of long trips would set the engine light on for some reason or another.
IT burned tons of oil.

I bought the 100000m extended warranty. $2750+1000 in deductibles.
The crazy thing is im looking to buy a white jcw.

Would lemon law be applicable to this situation?

too many miles I would guess for even the most consumer friendly lemon laws.
I think extended warranties are a must with this car.
Curious about the OP's driving habits.

The JCW actually seems to have less issues maybe it has something to do with quality of parts used in the JCW versus standard S.

Wouldn't the odds indicate it would have to? Wow!

OP, did you buy the car new or when did you get it?

I had my R50 for 14 months I think and had >$11k in total repair orders in 4 different visits. Paid the $250 deductible all 4 times for my extended warranty. It was a $7-10k car and really needed some TLC, it had 38k miles on it from '02-'11. I then put almost 30k on it and just was tired of wondering what next...

Guess I don't feel so bad about my R56! I am trying to sell it though.
