'05 Cooper S starter kept running now nothing. Help!

Hello everyone,
So, I got in my S to start It this morning and it sounded like the starter kept running. I shut if off and I think it was still running and turning the engine over. I took the key out and it stopped. I tried again and it did the same thing. Only for much shorter time and it stopped. Now the starter won't work and some of the electrical stuff won't work. Like the headlights, dash, windows. The fuses are all good and my battery is only a couple months old. I put it on the charger and it has a good charge. There is no electrical smell or any other bad thing going on. What do you guys think it could be?
Thanks,
Shawn

PS- I did find a burned fuse. I forgot about the fuses under the hood. It's the FL7 fuse it's a tall red 50A fuse. I took another one out and put it in there. It still won't start, the dash worked for a few seconds then the fuse burned again.

Sounds like the starter. It must have turned "stuck on" the and keep running up against the flywheel, then shorted out. Blowing the fuse. Usually when a starter goes bad it just stops working.

Starter part number 12417570488

Here is the fuse box lid in the engine bay.

Looks like FL7 is the starter fuse that went.

Thanks

I'm thinking maybe the starter relay. I haven't had any issues at all yet with the starter.

I'm going to replace the relay and fuse and see what happens. It's pretty cheap to do that

Do you know where the starter really is?

No your right, it's still not working. That fuse blew, if that's the starter fuse. What I ment is that I have never had any issues with the starter till now.

So, I bought a new relay, one of the light green ones. The dealer only had one. I put the new one, one at a time in all seven spots and that did not fix it. All seven have the same part number. I replaced the fuse that blew and everything else works now, just not the starter. There are three small black relays. The dealer didnt have that in stock. One of them I can pull out. The other two won't come out, I'm not sure why.
