I took out my cabin air filter when it first started to smell and BOOM a dead mouse came out.
Ordered a new air filter and thought my problems were solved. I was all smiles. Well, next day, the smell came back stronger than ever and thus returned my frowns. I am guessing that the mouse either had a mate or a nest full of babies somewhere in my dash.
Does anyone have any recommendations? Hard to drive the ladies around with a car that smells like a morgue.

I bet the odor has been absorbed by the seats/carpets....
Use some fsbreeze and sprinkle some baking soda on the carpets....the vacume in a few days....after you remove the rest of the corpses...

Oh god, I didn't realize your thread title was literal until I opened it. I hope you can get it out! I'd definitely drench everything fabric with Febreze after you get the source problem rooted out.

Warm up the car, make sure it is pulling air from the outside and all windows are closed, put the fan on high.
Spray this stuff in the intake vent below windshield like crazy on the front of the car and let it suck it in.
Then open the car, push the recirc button and spray this stuff in the intakes that are in the footwell of the car.
Don't breath it in.
Close the door with the fan on high and recirc on and windows closed.
Unless there is actually something still dead in there, this will kill the odors.
Always works for me.

Vinegar might help to ease the smell too. I stepped in dog poo last year and it got all over the carpets... yuck! Even after I took the floor mats out and scrubbed them the smell was still in the car. No air fresheners were working and I googled what to do to get rid of smell. A fine spray of vinegar worked to get rid of the smell but my car smelled like Vinegar for about 2 weeks. It was a lesser evil, lol. Good luck!
