I have an R53 and I discovered a little while ago that the black insert on my rear bumper has fallen off. :(

It's the little insert that is right above the exhaust on the R53. I have the aero kit so maybe it's a tad different. Does anyone know where I might be able to order this? Or do I have to go to the dealer 2 hours away...? :(

Also I was thinking I could do something to make a MINI badge there. Has anyone ever done this?

 

I bet the dealer does not stock it.....they will order it, and then you have to have it shipped/pick it up.
Go to the Penske parts site, and look up the model, vin etc, find the diagram, and order the part...easy!!
Their advertisements are all over the site!! Or just do a search!! Penske also owns a bunch of MINI dealers....

But after a lot of searching I still can't find the part I need.

Maybe I just can't see it on there. Things that look like they might be referencing it seem to actually be for bolts/screws.

 

You can replace that plug with the factory (option) rear fog light (RED lens) or the 02-04 reverse light (CLEAR lens) from OUTMOTORING for like $40.00 shiped. The light wont work but it looks a whole lot better than the plug.

 

It's considered a "crash part", they may have one, give'm a call.

 

Well unfortunately I have lost ANOTHER piece of my car!
The back arch piece of the front passenger side wheel well trim.

I went through a larger than expected puddle yesterday and that's the only thing I can think of that might have caused it to come off. Luckily for this site I ordered the part ($30 w/ shipping) and already have a tracking #.

It is in R53 exterior section under lighting/tint/lenses, on the second row from the botom. (picture shows '02/'03 clear back up light.)
