The K&N took me 10 minutes to install, and I was probably spending half that time reading the instructions, which was simple enough. I believe the green filter is a foam type filter while the K&N filter is a gauze type. I've read somewhere that the foam type filters air a little better, but the gauze type is more durable. You can't go wrong with either.
