My Mini's Name

Hello All
Well, I finally named my new Mini. His name is Scooter.
I live in Jefferson County and I am still trying to spot other Mini's.
I think I must be the only one out here with such a car!!
Last night I drove home from work in a very bad rain storm. My mini did so well!! What a difference from my 2004 Ford 150 4x4. Whenever I turned corners in my truck I could feel my back end fishtailing out. Not so with Scooter, though. He stuck to the roads surface like glue.
I just love this car. If anyone out there is thinking of buying a Mini, do it!!!
This is simply the best car I have ever owned!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Pat,

I live in far South St Louis County-1 mile from Arnold, so depending on where you live in Jeff County, you are not alone. Look for my BRG Cabrio with gold bonnet stripes Have fun with Scooter In fact I may have seen him the other day on I-55 Silver convertible, right

Wait till you get to drive in the snow...that is a blast. I got my car in December 2002, right before we had our huge snow storms. I was yanking up the e-brake around every turn while holding second gear... my car would get almost completely sideways, but the front remained planted. These cars are so incredibly easy to control. I hope we get massive snow fall this year too... it is a f'n blast driving in the stuff...although now my car sits a little lower, so we'll have to see how that goes.

oh...and I still have not named my car. I have no idea of what would suit it??

How 'bout, "Buzzer?"
It's yellow/black, it's low to the ground, and it's got a custom Magnaflow exhaust!

Or there's also, "Brutus" which I kind of like for your ride...

Hmmmmm....

Ooo I hadn't even thought about the snow yet. This should be fun. I'm heading up North to visit my mother for christmas, lots of snow, lots of fun! Hehe!

Hello

Yes, Lois, you probably did see me then. Silver Convertible!! I live in Festus.
I will be on the look out for you.
Snow?!!!! Hadn't thought about snow!!!! This should be interesting.
I hate driving in snow!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the dynamic stabily control on Scooter, so hopefully I will not have any problems. Time will tell......

Snow is your friend! But don't be fooled, his ex-wife ice is just a B*tch.

MINI's in snow

I thought that the MINI's sucked in the snow, or is that just the sport tires?

I plan to take my Yoko's off for the winter & put my All seasons back on. My first MINI did great in the snow but since we hardly had any snow last winter, I really haven't tested Sunnie But watch out for that ICE

You could always just call him "Drei". (Its German for 3.) Because if she is just going to call it #3, might as well make is SEEM fancy.

Drie for Dutch.
τρία for Greek.
Trois for French.
Tre for Italian.
Três for Portugues.
Tres for Spanish.

How about that?
