My Mini's Name
Hello All
Well, I finally named my new Mini. His name is Scooter. I live in Jefferson County and I am still trying to spot other Mini's. I think I must be the only one out here with such a car!! Last night I drove home from work in a very bad rain storm. My mini did so well!! What a difference from my 2004 Ford 150 4x4. Whenever I turned corners in my truck I could feel my back end fishtailing out. Not so with Scooter, though. He stuck to the roads surface like glue. I just love this car. If anyone out there is thinking of buying a Mini, do it!!! This is simply the best car I have ever owned!!!!!!!!!!! |
Hi Pat,
I live in far South St Louis County-1 mile from Arnold, so depending on where you live in Jeff County, you are not alone. Look for my BRG Cabrio with gold bonnet stripes:thumbsup:  Have fun with Scooter:grin: In fact I may have seen him the other day on I-55:razz: Silver convertible, right:thumbsup: Lois:grin:  |
Wait till you get to drive in the snow...that is a blast. I got my car in December 2002, right before we had our huge snow storms. I was yanking up the e-brake around every turn while holding second gear... my car would get almost completely sideways, but the front remained planted. These cars are so incredibly easy to control. I hope we get massive snow fall this year too... it is a f'n blast driving in the stuff...although now my car sits a little lower, so we'll have to see how that goes.
oh...and I still have not named my car. I have no idea of what would suit it?? |

It's yellow/black, it's low to the ground, and it's got a custom Magnaflow exhaust! Or there's also, "Brutus" which I kind of like for your ride... Hmmmmm.... |

MINI's in snow
I thought that the MINI's sucked in the snow, or is that just the sport tires?

she's considering simply "#3" :sly: Drie for Dutch. τρία for Greek. Trois for French. Tre for Italian. Três for Portugues. Tres for Spanish. How about that? |
