Tire pressure for Gateway event

I'm in the Gatweay driving event for the first time. So my car is ready, are there any instructors out there who know what we should fill our tires to?

Thanks!

They're Pirelli's. I think they say max psi 51 on the sidewalls under max load. That seems a bit much, eh?

Put somewhere around 36 then when you get to the track you could let some out if that is what you and your instructor thought you needed to do. It's easier to let air out at the track than put it in.

Just have fun and be safe track day are a blast

BMW did the Track Day. Quite nice.
There was a NOPI Event on the GIR Drag Lot and we got to see some drifting. I was very impressed with the car control those drivers used on the road course. Then they came over to the BMW Track Day DE at the lunch break and 6 drivers drifted on the road course at lunch break. Coming from motorsports where we work hard to get as much traction as possible at all times it's a total reverse thought process. But, in my opinion, the skills of the drivers are impressive and it certainly is a big spectator sport.

The next track day I know about is the StL Region SCCA on Sat. August 25. You can register now for that one. I would love to see a bunch of MINI's out there.
