tire sensor came on, but pressure is good.

This morning my front driver's side tire pressure sensor came on. It drove fine so I knew it couldn't be running flat, so I waited and did a visual check after arriving at work, it looked normal. Got out of work, still looked good, got home and checked the pressure and it was 31 PSI. other three tires varied from 31 to 30 PSI, basically all the same. So I'm not sure what would set it off.

Has anyone else had this happen and what ended up being the cause?

EDIT: I just reset the damn thing and took a drive and it won't come back on. Maybe it just doesn't like the morning dew.

30/31 is a little low. if they were at 35 or more last time the system was reset, thats about when the light will come on.

pump them up properly to what it says on the label inside the driver side door and reset it again

i'm having a similar issue. When removing my bumper a few weeks ago I accidentally unplugged the passenger TPMS relay unit. I got a "inactive" sensor warning because I forgot to plug it back in....so I plugged it in and now the light on the dash/speedo is gone but I still get a light and chime on the tac when starting the car. When in the menu I do not get a reset option for this...how can i get rid of this light/chime?

the reset procedure is in the owners manual (it is a bit convoluted)
