I'm just sick! I tried to make an appointment at Randy's place in Colorado when I was there in June, but he didn't respond until July when I'd already reached Texas.
Then I heard he was in the Bay area, couldn't make it.
Now tonight I read he was at MY SHOP IN RESEDA?!?!?!?!?!? That's where I get my oil changed!!!!!
So how can I get in the loop as to when and where Randy is?!?

Well it's probably going to make you throw up when you find out that it was posted all over the boards here for more than a month. The best place to figure out Randy's schedule is to go to his website at http://www.webbmotorsports.com Join his forums and check out "Pulley Party Central"
You can post a message on the board associated with whatever pulley party you wish to attend, and pick an open slot (he has all the time slots posted). There is always a reciprocal thread of 5 on NAM in the soCal area whenever he even hints about coming back to LA.
This morning I overheard Randy say that he had over 150 e-mails he received yesterday alone. So, you can imagine the lag in response while he's on the road.
I'm sorry you weren't able to make it out to this event...it was lots of fun (and lots of hot) but I'm sure you'll be able to catch up with him if you follow my advice.
Best of luck!

Bimmers Pics
Pic 1
Oooh yeah! I'm a fiendish fan of those low angles!
Looks like between 10am - 2pm 'cause of shadows. Used polarizer to cut glare, strengthen sky, right?
Pic 2
I like the verticalness. (is that a word?)
The only thing that throws those off are those diagonal beams at the top.
The mechanics' tools in foreground add a nice touch (the channel locks, air ratchet, etc., even the WD40).
Pic 3
Nice one of mechanic.
Having been there at a different time, I know it was close quarters.
That said, many of the lines seem to flow. I like how those vertical lines consisting of that black beam continue the left edge of the viper stripes, the antenna goes with the middle, and the left edge of that framed pic next to Randy's head flows with the right edge of the said stripes.
We missed each other there. How'd you like the triple digit temps?

Thread split: some content has been moved over to the Julian thread
Krassanova: Thanks for the comment about the garage looking good in the photos.
Juan: all the photos were done with a UV filter and no polarizer.
As far as the heat goes, I left about 10-10:30, so I dodged the worst of it, but it was freaking hot already just standing there in the garage watching Randy work.
