spotted R50 red on red wheels on the 210east frwy last night, couldnt really wave i was not in my mini :D

 

didnt have time to slow down and check the number but there was a GP parked on superior cross street desoto today for about an hour around 12pm
also on the same street theres always parked a white clubman
and a cr/b jcw clubman

 

gp was there parked again

Tonight 6 p.m. I was coming from the Hacienda Heights side of Turnbull Canyon Road, close to the apex on Turnbull a orange convertible zipped by me going in the other direction the female driver gave me an open mouth smile (the busted kind of "I know where you're going" type of smile).

I didn't have time to wave, so I gave two quick honks. Needless to say I had a extremely spirited downhill run.

 

When are we going to have a socal meet?

My commute takes me from the 57 to the 91 to the 110. Does anyone take any of these as well?

Keep an eye out for a LaBlue/Black R56S with a JCW kit on the 91 and you can keep me company. My commute is boooooooring!

CR R56 Cooper w/checkered mirror caps going South on Robertson from the Beverly Hills area. Driver and passenger were both asian females. Wasn't feeling the MINI love from either one of them but I wasn't hurt or anything, I was just a lil bit jealous of those black R105 JCW wheels.

Lots of MINIs and Minis in San Diego. Some even wave back, but it's getting pretty rare. I got waves last week from two blue MINIs with racing stripes. And a wave from a cute girl in a yellow convertible. Made my day, it did!

I even got a wave from a Land Rover I was passing going up 163 on the long uphill from Mission Valley towards Kearny Mesa. He had a "GB" sticker on the back, and I suspect he liked the Union Jack on my roof...
