i was in BURBANK spotted these to red mini's across from each other this first ones plates said LIL CHRY ......lol

Played with a Dark Silver/black R53 with exhaust and SoCal Mini Maniacs sticker on the back...on the 405 near LAX yesterday. Driver was female I believe...you on here??

 

Yeah, that was me -- you made me skip my exit (and several more, heh) waiting for you to pull up alongside so I could say Hi! (I know, traffic sucked) Thanks for the fun though, I was having a crappy day at work and needed some excitement

 

I'm spotting a few, no one waving.....mostly R56 owners . If you see a LY/LY MCS in Corona, it's probably mine (if I let the wife drive it to work). It sports SCMM stickers.....

 

Nice ill be the RG with a small L4P crown sticker in the back window and bright yellow fogs

 

I'm done waving. I've spotted dozens of Minis around orange county lately, and have not had a single wave returned. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I might, for old times sake, wave back if someone waves to me, but I'm too depressed to keep waving. Sigh.

 

don't be depressed - here's a big wave from Cricket Maybe their dealers aren't advising them of their obligations as a Mini driver.

haha i spotted a lot of Minis on the road today on my way to Crevier, and also a few on the way home on the street, the 55fwy and the 15fwy

one in particular was a crazy blueish color on a convertible, on the 55, NICE!

 

I spotted a bright pink cabrio with offset blue sport stripe on the 10 this morning on my commute. It was crazy.

 

AMVIV AFTERMATH!!!!


So i stopped and got gas by my house in Victorville be fore heading to work...

As i pulled in to the station, i noticed two minis all ready there. Sure enough they recognized my mini..lol

They where just now heading back home from AMVIV.. what are the chances of that little meet 3 days after the event.. lol

 

today at the Cabazon outlet, 1pepper white r56 and a light cappucino non S coupe
and a blueish convertible exiting off the 10

and a red/white non S coupe in banning

bout to make a left to shell station off ontario a lowered LY drove by gave me a wave and i waved right back

and 5 mins later at a 76 station off ontario ave again a black r53 lowered with wheels i waved, but not sure if u waved right back

 

we'll keep an eye out for you....wow, we both have the same location...and the same (or close now) amount of postinge....weird

Homer, I feel your pain, as I am about to quit waving, at least first....Cabrio owners get a sticker telling them to Motor with the top down, they should install stickers in all the cars to "Wave @ Your Fellow MINIacs"

 

Today: Spotted a Sparkling Silver R56 with a towhook license plate on Bundy in Santa Monica near the SM Airport. Not sure if it was a R56 Cooper or Cooper S. We exchanged looks.. and that's about it.

EDIT: Exchanged waves with an older gentleman in a DS/W MCS in El Segundo on Imperial & Main on Friday. (No dave, I'm pretty sure it wasn't you. You're not that old.. and you no longer have a DS/W MCS.. )

 

I only drive Solar Red and occasionally BRG MINIs.

Female on Landfair Ave in Westwood, in a Chili Red with checkered caps, with shades on and on phone. Good to see the wave is still alive as it's been a while!

 

Thanks to a couple of motorers lately. My spirits are renewed, and the wave is not dead, despite me previous post. I still wave to each mini I see, and have been encouraged by a few returned waves lately. It's funny, I have 3 neighbors in my little condo complex that have bought Minis lately - 2 of them convertibles. I must inform them of the duty to wave....

 

LOL and i would love to know how they responded.....
