Some of us were thinking about having an informal get together in Orlando on the weekend of Dec. 14-15th. Possibly meeting on the 14th at Downtown MINI, driving around downtown for a bit, then heading somewhere to get a bite to eat. Anyone interested? Also, I'm not from Orlando, so I'm not too sure of places to motor or eat...any of ya'll Orlando folks have any ideas?? :smile:

LMAO...so true. It's a shame that Ronnie's closed down a few years ago. That was a sad day for Orlando, and all of Central FL.

We've had some updates over on .www.floridamini.net

 

Okay, so far, it looks like we'll meet at Downtown Disney around 11 AM, then get something to eat probably at one of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants. Then we are talking about motoring over to Celebration. They have a great holiday celebration (no pun intended,) with snow and carolers and all. The houses in that community are always done up immaculately for the holidays, so we could cruise around there for a while if everyone wanted to. Anyone have any other suggestions???

 

Okay, slight change of plans. Instead of 11am, let's meet around 2pm in the M lot of Downtown Disney (on the west end, by Cirque de Soleil.) This will enable us to go to Celebration closer to dark, to see their holiday festivities and their Christmas lights. How does this sound????
