Kool, any and everyone is invited to Spring Thing. From what I've heard, people come from Europe to this event. It should be awesome...over a hundred Minis/MINIs so far... I can't wait!!

There is a good chance that it will be slightly above 23.. But do not hold us to it. Florida weather is like a womans mood, it can change at any moment.

FYI guys - word had it that the Hampton Inn was sold out for Spring Thing... I just found rooms at the hotel for $59 on Expedia.com ($10 less per night than the FLAME rate!). I may be making an appearance after all!

I'll be there, already sent my registration in way back in Dec 02.
FYI:
Autocross is at St. Pete College, 3200 34th Street South (Rte19)
in St. Pete. Look for the driver training course at the south end
of the facility. It will start around noon and last until 5 or so.

Car show is at Spa Beach Park at the foot of The Pier. Cars should
be there by 9:30. It will last until 3 or so.

Eating in St. Pete.....
Best upscale restaurant but casual dress....Red Mesa 4th Street
Best burgers....Harveys 4th St Grill (....right 4th st).
Best Breakfast..The Dome Grill Central Ave..but the coffee sucks.
Best Pizza......Joey Brooklyns... 1st Ave N and 2nd St.
Best Asian....Pho Quyen Park Blvd and 54th St. Website for Pho Quyen
Places to avoid eating....anywhere on the Pier....lots of tourist
traps on the beaches but Frenchies...a few locations & has good sandwiches, etc.
Best Sunday Brunch...Harveys 4th Street Grill or Red Mesa..if you
go to Harveys for brunch ask for Alysia but give her a great tip. She is a doll!!
