As of 10:00am, sunshineminis.org website is down. It seems the hosting company is having some server problems since their own website is not responding. Hopefully they will restore access soon.

I was also having problems getting on to NAM this morning. I was starting to think I blew the sites up.

 

FYI sometime last night the NAM server went down. It was rebooted this morning and appears to be better now...

 

Go ahead and put in the order I sent earlier for them. I'll call and ask if they have any additional requests. Then I'll pay or have someone from Downtown MINI pay you.

Yeah, I got home from work this AM, wanting my MINI fix (since Dolly's battery did an Elvis,) and I couldn't get SSM nor NAM to work. I was beginning to wonder if MINIUSA had decided to go on a rampage or somethin'.

Updates from the hosting company for sunshineminis.org:

Currently there is an outage in the Dallas datacenter which is causing our adaptive01 Linux hosting server to be unreachable. The cause of the outage is unkown at this time and we do not have an ETA for a fix. Network operations is working on the issue and we will post an update when we have more information.

UPDATE - 9:30 AM ET: Over the past hour, we have been seeing more and more parts of the datacenter network coming back online. The problem is still being worked on and we hope that adaptive01 will be reachable soon. Please note that until we get an official status update from our datacenter, that connectivity to adaptive01 may be intermittent.

UPDATE - 10:15 AM ET: We have received a status update that our server may have lost power due to the root cause of this outage and will need to be manually powered on. Our datacenter provider is in the process of doing a sweep of all servers to make sure they are powered on if needed.

UPDATE - 3:05 PM ET: Due to the earlier datacenter problems, the adaptive01 Linux hosting server is still down. I have talked with a technician and they are going to work on this now so we hope to have it available soon. Please accept my apology for the extended downtime. We will be working with our datacenter provider to see what we can do to prevent this from happening again.

Apparently our website is in Dallas!

Wow... as inconvenient as this is for us, imagine if your business, your livelihood relied on that Dallas-based server.
