AMVIV Rooms, Rates extended?

I have been haveing a bit of a hard time determining if I can get the time off. I have seen somewhere that the dates have been extended to the 4th of Feb for the special hotel rates at the Palace Station. Is this true or have I missed the boat?

Thanks for your help.

I understand they have been extended. However, I am going by myself and already have a room if you want to share (I am a male if that matters).

That is very kind of you. We'll see how things work out. I think we are going to get there on Tues. evening or early Wednesday. We really need a little vacation.

I was told by Dennis of the Norcal club that Palace Station told him that they were extending the group rate to Friday, 2/4/05. I just called them, and Palace has extended the rate until the 4th.

Dom, I'm not sure. Donovan has been dealing with Palace, and he's been out of town for the last week+.
The last I heard was almost 2 weeks ago, and it was about 65 then. I know a number of people have been booking since then. Also, based on the registration forms I've seen, a significant number of people are staying somewhere other than Palace Station. A lot of people who come to Vegas regularly have places they prefer to stay, and we knew that would be the case when we set it up.

Thanks! It's an oldie I made a couple years back. Amazing the TTF (TrueType Fonts) you can find on the internet.

Do you know how big of block you had "reserved"?

Originally, we reserved 100 for the thursday and 200 for the friday and saturday nights. Palace was concerned we weren't filling them fast enough so we dropped the number to (I think) 80/150/150
We have to fill 80% or we forfeit our deposit on the rooms.

My experience was that you weren't going to start filling the rooms until the last few days of the promo. People tend to wait until the last possible second to do things. And then, there's the 48 hr window to cancel them, on which some people will back out of them.

Odd I should be included, I've booked there at the PS. For both the nights of the 4th and 5th.

Registered with SCMC. You never went to www.AMVIV.com and filled in the registration page. Or if you did, you missed the submit button.

Dominic,

You want fonts ? FREE fonts go to

http://www.101fonts.com/

Click on a, b, etc. and a list comes up. Put the pointer on one and it shows how the font looks.

Just remember FREE is good.

Earl

From a competitor to 101fonts, try the 1001fonts.com site:

Here's a direct link to the Wonka font!

Freeware!

AMVIV 2005 Kick Off Dinner (Fundraiser) Signup Now!!

We got 79 RSVP's so far, and still need 121, otherwise our deposit will become the RESTAURANT donation. We reserved the restaurant for 200 persons and we're expected to meet that as a minimum otherwise they will move us to a smaller room and/or charge us additional fees.

The restaurant was kind enough to waive the tax and gratuity to help us with our costs since this is a fund raiser, so our out of pocket deposit is equivalent to 200 dinners which is being paid by the founding members of c3.

That's a lot of dough, and if anyone is waiting until the last minute, please email us so we know that. We got 20 RSVP's in just the past couple of days which is fantastic!

Also, we found out that one of our sponsors will donate a very high value prize worth $4,000 + if and ONLY if we reach the 200+ point.

20 Days Left to Pre-register
