Good for you then! Can understand that... you were in a position to get in, get it done and move on! At least you are back to motoring!

Good work, and didn't take too long. Saved 4-5 hrs of expensive labor cost, too!

Yes! Not bad for a first time I think...

That is my second driver... I like tinkering with our cars and to keep them in shape. Secondary, is the money saved as opposed to taking it to the stealership and getting abused.

Way to go!

Im the same way with my 2000 4runner... the money you save goes into buying better quality or performance parts.

Installed a rebuilt RevMax valve body in my 2008 Cooper. Just waiting for the trans to learn the proper behavior. They say 200 miles of city driving. I am at 60 miles so far. It is getting better, nowhere near perfect yet, but far better than when I first put it in. I have to say this, the tech support there is awesome. They told me after it learns after 200 miles, they will work with me to adjust the solenoids to make it perfect. I cannot wait!!!

Great! ... looking forward to hearing the future updates and about the solenoid adjustment procedure. A separate thread will make it easier for people to find AT rebuild answers in the future.

Filed insurance claim for a cracked windshield. Lower right corner into the center. No chip, no impact mark. No idea what happened, but I think it is just a stress crack.

This car is cursed.

Replaced the lower engine torque link with Vibra-Technics MIN915M after finding the rubber in the OEM unit was cracked. Also replaced the cabin filter.

Looks like the same one I'm running. It's the ELM327 BT that pairs with the Torque app.

Spent most of the afternoon laying in the dirt swearing at rusty exhaust fasteners. Lol, busted the shifter already. Found the pelican article on the linkage system. Gotta love the internet. Tempted to bust out the sawsall and fabricate myself a racing exhaust so I can access the linkage box.

After washing a cleaning the wife's Clubbie yesterday she drove us to Church in the rain. Didn't want to ride in My Toyota Tacoma Prerunner so I had park in the street so she could get the lone occupant Mini out of the Garage.

Just got back from a business trip again. Took barnaby out for a cruise after driving a Nissan Sentra 2016 that drove like CRAP all week. Wheels were off balance and trim rubbing the whole time.
