Sounds like Jasper must be happy!

How are you liking those Koni FSDs?

Yeah, the reduced pulley does wake him up a bit.

Loving the FSDs! I was impressed with the handling on the Tail of the Dragon. No regrets!

Nice, those flaps will help reduce the dust and dirt. Look good also. Did you use the install guide here :

eBay. I was just browsing and stumbled on to a posting from a dealer in VA. Complete set was $70 shipped so I figured why not?

Thanks.

I didn't want to neglect my other Mini, so tonight the R52 got checkered flag mirror covers.

Please excuse the mess; Yoda gets a bath on Saturday.

New Stripes and Black out!!

I installed matte red stripes and blacked out the chrome.

The matte red vinyl looks amazing. I LOVE IT!!! I am not 100% happy with both bumpers. Totally my fault. I've never played with vinyl before and the bumpers and scoop I will have to redo in a few days or next week. But at least you can see what my vision is. I suggest you take your time, pre-cut at home before you begin this. Maybe take a few days. I this is alone in about 3-4 hours and my back and legs are killing me. So take your time.

Also, I blacked all ALL the chrome on my car. Headlight trim, tail light trim, grille surround, belt line, gas cap and side scuttles. Next thing is the door handles, I want them matte black (OutMotoring told me they should be back in stock in 3-4 weeks). Also I need to wait until I can put on the MINI emblems back on. I need to get adhesive for them.

So once I fix the vinyl I'm not happy with, and get the emblems and door covers on, I should be done.

Guillermo

Also, swapped out the white side mirror caps for black ones.

Planning to get the windows tinted over the next few weeks.

Changed the oil in my MINI for the first time today - meaning, I bought it used and this is the first time I changed it Having changed oil hundreds of times on many different types of vehicles, I have to say this was THE EASIEST oil change I have ever done! I was blown away at the simplicity...in fact, now that my boys are 17 and 18 and basically doing their own thing, I think I will teach my 9 year old daughter how to change oil on this car. I believe she could do it all without any problems...save maybe breaking loose the plug and filter initially. She has already claimed it for her first car when she is 16 and has demanded I take impeccable care of it (fine by me because then I can just get another one!).

Looks are a 10, weight reduction was pretty substantial but couldn't tell you exactly. Sound on the touring is only a little different from the stock JCW to tell you the truth. It is a like deeper and at WOT it sounds a little louder. I took it and flogged it at AX today so it was worked pretty hard.
